No. You don't. At least not in New York. If you get a cop who is going to stick it to you, and it's your first offense I think the most they can give you is an ACOD which is basically a slap on the wrist.
I've been caught with an ounce of marijuana and the cop just took it and let me go.

Depends on what the police want to do to you, normally it can be a simple ticket to appear in court and a fine, But yes they can arrest you and make you post bail, and also the judge can order you to do some time. But the prisons are so over crowded seldom will it happen

No! this is I must say mathematically impossible! also this must be legalized so that the use of a natural plant for nerves and relaxation can be enjoyed!
so if you contact your legislators now,with all of your friends whom enjoy marijuana this could be done within the next election!
you shall get probation with urines drug test! don't worry though if you are to fail each and every one of them. Nothing shall be done about it!
also you shall be fined 60 to 100 us d's so don't worry just do what you chose to do in such minuet situation!
what a waist of time and tax payers money!
I suggest every one begin to legislate on this use of pot NOW! so it can be legalized!

my cousin got busted just buying the weed . it was only two joints he went to jail for 1 year.

It depends. It depends on your race and the race of the arresting officer; it depends on your attitude and how that meshes with the arresting officer; it depends on if the judge feels bloated at the moment; it depends on your individual state laws. Try not doing it.

If your my brother in law you do. Depends on how cocky you are as to how much time you get. He's quite cocky every time he's arrested....risking being arrested isn't worth it, so don't smoke weed, okay?

Not normally. Probably have to go to court and pay a fine or do community service, maybe be on probation. Especially if you are a minor - you should be alright.

Depends on your state drug laws....but if you do get caught with it and any amount is illegal. then u would just more and likely get a fine
