My last period was March 26th. I haven't gotten my period yet but had a little brown discharge on May 4th and May 5th, which is today. Then this morning I wiped and the toilet paper had a little blood on it. Its 4pm now and I haven't had any blood since then. I have never had a light period like that. So I bled maybe about a tsp of blood, is that considered my period. Is there any chance its implantation, or is it too late for that?

We have been TTC!

Hi there! It could be implantation bleeding, but only a small percent of women experience that. Sometimes you can get spotting right around ovulation, either when the eggs bursts out of the follicle, or when the estrogen rises and causes a little of the uterine lining to shed. Spotting during ovulation is considered an excellent fertility sign. I'm wondering since you're ttc do you chart? I've been charting using the fertility awareness method, and it's been very informative. If you're interested, pick up a copy of Toni Weschlers book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" Charting can tell you if and when you ovulate, if you may have a luteal phase defect, if you're miscarrying but then mistaking them for a 'late' period, etc... very useful and the information can arm you with knowledge that could prevent unnecessary and expensive testing at the docs if you ever go in for a fertility workup. Goodluck!

Whoops! Just re-read and saw you said March, and I was thinking April. It seems that might be a bit late for implantation, but if you're not charting you might not know if you just had delayed ovulation this month. It could be implantation or the start of your period.

since you ttc that mean you are a grown woman
as a woman once you ralized that you miss your period you should have gone to the doc or take a test
you did not have a period in April
why have you not taking a test
