Ok ok.....I don't have vista, I have XP, but can anyone clear this question up for me as I have heard confliction opinions !
People are saying they are going to wait for the sp1 for vista, but I read somewhere that someone said there will not be a service pack......who is correct?

There will absolutely be a service pack. Whoever it was that said there wouldn't be one, I suggest you not get anymore computer advice from them, that was a ridiculous statement. It is due out some time in the second half of this year.

One more thing, I am one of the few people on here who gives opinions on Vista who has actually used it extensively, and I have to say it is not even remotely close to as bad as people make it out to be. If you even have a basic understanding of how to operate a computer, you would have very little trouble using it as is right now.

From what i have heard from a IT friend of mine SP1 for Vista will be released in aprox a month or so. Tho we know how fast MS works on these things so id give it a couple

There's always a service pack...and if any operating system was ever in dire need of one, it's Vista.

Do yourself a favor. Forget Vista and make the move to Ubuntu. Free yourself from software slavery.

I can't imagine them not releasing a service pack, especially after Vista's reputation for bugs and errors.
