Well if your lmp was in september you add 10 months to get the month your child will be born, because even though everyone says "women are pregnant for 9 months" what they forget is that we deliver at the end of the ninth month beggining of the 10th month.

Also, Your dr probably changed your due date because of your lmp, or because when they do a sonogram they like to go with the mesurments from the earliest possible sonogram, they tend to be more accurate. Or a combination of the two things.

As far as the baby dropping, that is normal, my daugher dropped about a month before she was born.

So your due date may be in june seeing as you got preggy in the beginning of september or the end of august... Talk to your dr about the different due dates, and why he changed them.

Doctors GUESS due dates based on what they think they know, so YES it could very well be wrong. I've been arguing with my Dr over my supposed due date because I was using a fertility chart and a KNOW when I ovulated and I KNOW when the accidental fertilization happened. I even have the clear triphasic pattern and implantation dip and spotting and yet my Dr insists that I didn't concieve for another week and a half after that....which I didn't for a fact because I HAD a positive hpt result 10 days after my ovulation and according to my Dr I hadn't even ovulated yet. My advice is to trust your own insticts and if it's going a little fast, just be prepared for one of those "full term preemies" LOL

With a LMP of Sept. 22 - it would DEFINITELY be closer to June than the middle of JULY!!!!

Sonograms aren't very accurate after 18 weeks as far as judging dates goes.

The date they gave when you when u took the ultrasound is usually the best one. And they always say you could have the baby two weeks before or two weeks after ur due date.

I would go by the June due date. Just make sure that you have your bag for the hospital packed. go to www.babycenter.com for a list of what you should take (Remember to not take your cell phone...take a pre-paid phone card for long distance calls. Cell phones can interfere with heart and other monitors)

An ultrasound at this late in the pregnancy will be +/- two weeks as far as accuracy, so that really wouldn't help.
