Beatles or the Rolling Stones, who would you choose?

I much prefer the Stones, their music is a lot closer to the old American Blues that they claim as their influence.

Difficult question. Both are great groups. The Beatles have been musically more productive and some of their songs are masterpieces. Yet the Rolling Stones are the quintaessential rock group. My answer: in the past The Beatles with no doubt. Today the Rolling Stones as they are still touring!!

I'd pick the Beatles over the Passing Stones any day of my life. All the Stones sing about is partying and all sorts of destructive behaviour. Yes, Beatles sing about drugs, too, but their melodies are so much prettier and catchier than that of the Stones. The Beatles do sing happier songs, about falling in love with the right girl and all that, too. I'm not gay or anything, but I still like a good love song here and there.

Beatles but I love them both. I say the Beatles because they came first, really pioneered a lot of things. But the Stones were great too.

Beatles. I can name about three Rolling Stones songs I like as opposed to hundreds of Beatles songs I like. Besides that, Mick Jagger is icky.

i luv both & have been fortunate enuf to see the stones live 7x (fantastic show!!!), but i must admit the beatles were my 1st musical obsession, so i`m goona go with them!!!
