Sounds like the temp sensor for the computer is bad or signal is not getting to the computer or the computer is bad and not turning on the fan or the fan relay is bad or the fan motor is bad.
First off, check whether the car is really overheating by putting a kitchen type thermometer in the radiator neck and start the car...if it levels off around 200 degree's it's not overheating so the sensor is probably bad--replace and see what affect it has. If it is overheating try to run a jumper wire from the battery to the fan directly to see if it does operate or not. If it does work, the computer or relay is bad---replace relay and retest. Also, make sure you purge any air out of the cooling system...there should be a bleeder screw on top of the t-stat housing and maybe one in a coolant line...these cars are very tricky to bleed sometimes and any air in the system will cause it to overheat. Make sure the lower air dam below the bumper is intact and not bent or damaged...this forces air up into the radiator when driving to help cool also.
The a/c problem could just be low freon charge or electrical also. Good luck, Paul

When you say over heating do you mean

1. the gauge is past the mid point
2. the gauge goes into the red
3. the car starts smoking when you drive

Also tell us if when you turn on your heat if the air that blows out is hot or just a little warmer than the outside air? Also is there any coolent fluid leaking out ... is there just as much coolent in there as when you flushed it? Does the car cool down when you go on the highway?

Need more info ... feel free to IM me.

Once you put a cage in it you have lost all the versatility of the interior. If you don't plan on building a 10 second drag car then forget about it. Install sub-frame connectors if you want to stiffen the chassis.
