Maybe you have a fourite internet radio station with a predictable playlist?

Many computers have a little known option in the windows volume controls thay permits real-time recording of windows own output!

To see if you have this option, open "volume control" by clicking Start\All Programs\Accessories\Entertainment\Volume Control.

Click on Properties & choose Recording.

Look for an option called "Stereo Mix" or "Wave Out Mix", enable it and ensure it is selected as your chosen input.

Using Audacity you can now have virtually any song you want for free.

No DoS for hogging ISP bandwith or worse.

I use LimeWire. If you only downloas MP3 files (never download executable files) and have firewall, antivirus and spyware protection it's great.
