I have known my friend for almost 8 years now. Two years ago, I found out she's a backstabber, can't trust her with my secrets.

Anyways, these days we talk. So, May 14, her and other friends wants me to join them for World's of Fun. I told her, I'll see if my schedule is clear on that day.

To be honest, I don't have nothing to do on that day. But I don't want to go with them because I still have the feeling of how she used to talk behind my back with other friends. I know they'll be making jokes and running around crazy. I'm the type of person who always since I was a kid act like a mature person and don't run around crazy.

Should I tell her the truth of how I don't want to go with them?

Iwould tell her the truth. That's more then she's told you in 8 years. I had a friend for 10 years & a month ago she decided she didn't want to be friends anymore no reason, we were like sister"s. But it's a blessing noe I don't have to take her places or go anywere when I don't want to. She finally started talking to me about 2 wks ago, but we will never be close anymore & now when she talks to me she can't even look me in the eyes. Just remember when 1 door closes another 1 opens. Hugs,
STAR

you should definitely tell her the truth. honesty is always the best policy, and if she doesn't like you for that then it's her problem. but did she apologize for being a backstabber? because 2 years is a long time and she might have changed and you don't know it because you've been too afraid to hang out with her.

no dear then pls do not go with them. The answer is lying in your question itself that you do not want to go.But it is difficult to measure that how much crazy they are otherwise in a friends get together acting little bit crazy is a common thing and it is good for mental health. If u know little bit acting my suggestion is u go there talk and laugh with everybody, give full attention to a friend who usually get least attention but coolly and smilingly avoid that backstabber.she will get the message.
