Not with a rock.
They are nothing but flying rats.
That is why I use my pellet gun to kill them. The crows know this and hang around my roof. Down time is about 5 min top before they clean up the mess.

LMAO....... here's the thing....... I live in Southern California, and until a couple of years ago, we didn't even have pigeons where I live..... we had crows, but come on, they are just as bad if not worse....... now we have a serious pigeon infestation....... I would love to know how to get rid of them for good!!!!!! maybe you'll come and demonstrate your throwing abilities....hahahahahaha..... ^_^

The trick is to throw a handful at a flying pigeon. You are much more likely to kill it. BTW they are really good eatin' y'ever try one. MMMMMMMMM.

I once threw a beer bottle at a dove and killed it. I was a bit tipsy at the time needless to say. So I'll take a pass on pigeons I think.
