True fear is something that restricts us from living our lives normally without being paranoid or afraid when we face it. Our minds exaggerate the consequences when we think about our fear, and what's the worst thing that could happen with it. You feel...well...afraid, but deeper down you feel as if you can't do anything, like you're on a leash, while being with your fear.

But fear is only in our minds, taking over all the time.

Fear is when your heart pounds like anything and you wish you could rewind; rewind to before you made the choice that led you to this place where you're scared. Fear is that terror that grows inside your stomach, where your ears are pounding and you wish, you just wish with all you heart you could get away or at least know what's going to happen. Fear is when you want it to be over - the thing screaming in your head to be gone. Fear is that feeling, that overwhelming desire for everything to be right because you are SCARED. OH, are you scared. You want to melt into a puddle, break into a million pieces, but you DO NOT under any circumstances want what comes next.

Fear is an INSTINCT in the Self-preservation department of our reactions. Its totally involuntary and its a pre-cursor to the BIG "FIGHT OR FLIGHT" response that kicks in just before sheer panic. All of these conditions come with varying degrees of adrenaline to enable us to flee or fight both stronger AND faster to preserve our lives and those we find important to ourselves.
