NO, I mean hell no. What happened to honor and country. We make this effort work. We Finnish the job with pride. We come back with the honor of the people of Iraq. We act like Americans. We get it right. We learn to understand and be diplomatic. Children of Iraq will respect the effort to bring Saddam down. Clerics will be treated like any other criminal that preaches and delivers hate. Good Muslims will find a central government.

I agree with you. The biggest problem I see with leaving Iraq is that the way it is being done will leave us in a situation where we can never go back there and fight again. This is problematic if a group like Al Queda or another terrorist group uses Iraq and Iraq's government the way Al Queda did in Afghanistan and use it as a base of operation to attack the US. Pulling out could be the worst move this country ever did and the democrats will be the reason for it. If going into Iraq was a mistake, pulling out would be worse.
That being said, I support the war and voted for Bush twice. However, the administration has handled the PC here at home in an inept way. He allows the democrats to trod over everything he does. Republicans need to get some balls rather quickly. Otherwise, this country is going down the sewer fast.

Every day America stays in Iraq is a day American soldiers die and more Iraqi's and other Arabs turn anti American. It would be far better if the Iraqi government and army took care of those tugs.Bush wasn't into nation building and actually rejected the whole idea when he first ran for President. This is a civil war by now and it is their civil war.The Baghdad government needs to take responsibility, they are relying and leaching of their US support.America can't do anything positive anymore in Iraq.
The whole fight them there theory is ridiculous. This is a global conflict; If al quaida saw any opportunity they would hit America or Europe today, whether you were in Iraq or not, that's irrelevant.Iraq has actually given them a new training ground and even a better one than they had in Afghanistan.Because this one is real life and they can train on their biggest enemy, the United States of America

Please to not attempt to think by yourself.
The Middle East has become more unstable and Israel and Europe are subject to more attacks because the United States invaded and now occupy this region.
The radical conservative think tanks with the cooperation of conservative media would have us believe that we should "fight the extremist on their turf" although our occupation of that territory is more likely to insight terrorism against my family, friends, and fellow countrymen. I have not served two tours in Iraq, however, I respect soldiers who have the courage to disobey illegal orders.
Regardless what the neo-conservatives say, I think that we are increasing terror across the world. The United States has taken nearly 700,000 human lives, and severely injured 1.2 million. (UN numbers)
Let's learn to love one another and learn the true meaning of spirituality.

The Iraqi invasion was an illegal act, according to the bulk of the planet. We did it, and now we are committed to see it through. I'm sure we will back out too soon, we all want instant gratification here in America. We have certainly created more enemies, now we have to deal with it. This problem is just begining.

It's funny. I can tell you are an enlisted marine. Lack of intelligence.
We've been fighting them on their turf since the 50's. Guess what. They got tired of it and decided to fight us on our home turf.
Do us a favor and quit thinking. It doesn't become you.
I've done 3 tours there thank you very much.

Unfortunately, we are not in a position where we CAN just "pull out".
We fell for the mis-information of G.W. Bush and company and went to war with a country that was stable and not currently any threat to the U.S. Though that country was led by a total despot, it was still fairly stable.
Now, due to our actions, we will have to try and stabilize the country before we can pull our forces out or face the fact that the entire region will erupt.
Damned for doing, damned if we don't. Thanks Georgie!

You're funny.
So America has been "winning" in Afghanistan and Iraq for all those years and still doesn't controll them? What are those countries, the size of the galaxy?
Are you just misguided by lies, or do you invent the lies you're spreading?
