Because the woman isn't wearing the pants or hasn't put her foot down. That and maybe they shouldn't be a couple anymore because if he loved her then he would help her out. Simple. Get it done one way or another with him or without him.

We aren't yet retired. But, I do the cooking and he does the cleaning. I don't see that changing.
