My CD drive will not read anything, nor will my Flash drive.?

There was brief power outtage at my house. I had my computer running at the time, and when I rebooted, I had a promt asking me to press F1. Well, I set everything to the default, and now my CD drive will not read any disks, and my Flash Drive will not function properly, help pls?

Sounds like you may have changed your BIOS settings to their defaults. Restart, hit F1 again to enter BIOS. Look for the Drive setup area, make sure it's detecting the drives from here.
