Hi!
Yeah! I have to agree with you there!
There was this Irish lady on 'Found' on BBC 1 yesterday morning. It's a programme where adopted children find their birth parents.
Part of the programme was dedicated to a wonderful Irish lady, and all the while I was mesmerised by her language and Irish accent.
By the end of the programme I was totally enthralled by her!
God bless 'em all!!

I have a thing for guys with Irish accents. I also like to hear Australian accents but I like hearing Australian women speak more than the men.

being from Ireland, i have an Irish accent. the girls over here don't pay much attention to it, i mean why would they. but hell, when i go abroad they are made for it. every where I've gone in the world I've pulled because of it. i love it. i guess its as the old saying goes. " if you're lucky enough to be Irish, you're lucky enough".

Southern Irish, yes.Northern Irish (Ian Paisley soundalikes) no.
It's quite the opposite for Wales, I hate the "Good morning campers, look you boyo , isn'it, there's lovely " accent of South Wales.

I do love the Irish accent, but I prefer the Scottish. Much richer, more passionate, I think. But then I've always been a sucker for those darn Scots!

I spent several miserable years married to an Irish Catholic girl so I dislike the accent.
My preference is for a South African or Australian accent.

Nice question. I dont like Irish accent that much. I prefer African American accent (as for American speech), my second choice is Kenyan accent (esp the one spoken by the Kikuyu ppl) then i like Canadian and Australian accents.
As for the UK..i like South London accent.
