Question

both my great grandparents helped build "crystal palace"in london.
have you any relatives that have helped build important buildings?

I meant historical buildings,or buildings of importance.
sorry houses aren't really what I had in mind when asking this question.
and my family are not to blame for burning down the building.

going way back to 1066,my ancestors helped with the war(french side)and as a reward the king gave land to my ancestors for their help.

My great great great Grandmother was 2nd cousin removed from Shāh Jahān who built the Taj Mahal.

But going much further back my ancester's on my mother's side helped build Stonehenge - another of the 7 wonders of the world.

yes my great grandfather was a stone mason who worked on building Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral - in particular -The Lady Chapel
