Your skin doesn't like what you are doing to it; the itch is your body's way of telling you this.

Try a maximum of three sessions a week, and for a shorter time. Also try taking an anti-histamine for a few days to help with the itch. You need to be kind to your skin; it's probably dry too, so get a good moisturiser suitable for post-sunbed tanning.

This is mainly because they aren't good for your skin, they dry it out because they are an intense short burst of UV and heat. Make sure you moisturise your skin twice a day and preferably straight after you go on the sunbed, I've found that also helps if you get slightly burnt xx

If it's a lay down bed, I would think the bed was not properly cleaned and you picked up other people's cooties.
If it was a stand up bed (which are actually stronger), I would say your skin got irritated from the rays. You got to take it easy, when you start you go for 5 min, and gradually go up, maximum is 10 min. Go for 7min a few times, then 8, and so on. Until your skin is used to the rays and you are darker you can go for 10 min. no problem. Hope the itching stops soon, I know it can be irritating.

hi if you've just started to go on and your skin is light you might fined that you get prickly heat, try not to do too many minutes until your colour has gone abit darker, also maybe try only three days a week just while your starting off, just alittle tip when you get out the bath just pat yourself dry with the towel and your tan will last longer

I get this some times, it's prickly heat, take a antihistamine and give it a rest for a couple of days. Then build up your time slowly.

Are you using sun cream because if you are that can irritate your skin.
