Stereotyping is all over. It is the black woman vs. the white on many occasions. With dating and many others.
Its discriminating for any person who doesnt fit the "norm" to people but you know what. Be the one to prove them wrong. Show them there statistics are wrong.
But dont think you are the only one. It goes everyway promise.

Because most people don't meet Condolezza Rice and Oprah Winfrey, they meet Shaniqua and Queta. But, as I say time and time again if we treated each other like human beings and not sterotype people we'd all be alot happier. If you think all black women are loud and obnoxious you are going to notice women that act like this, you may not notice the nice, quiet black girl at the super market that always asks you how your doing. We need to stop lumping people in categories because you never know what your missing out on.

The way I see it, that's there problem. I don't liken myself to Conde Rice or Oprah. I do Admire Ms Winfrey very much though.

I am who I am. Take it or leave it!

People who use stereotypes to judge others are weak.

Don't believe the hype!

Yes! I can give you the results of several studies that prove it. These two famous examples do not constitute a valid counter-example to the claim that discrimination is rampant in America. The very fact that you have to ask this question confirms that you know, or at least suspect this to be true. Don't believe me? Try to find a question that begs to ask whether green eyed/left handed people are discriminated against. You won't find one.. For reason most most people(if not all) find this to be a non-issue, which is precisely the way race should be treated.

Yes, because instead of getting to know a Black Woman, most people watch the ghetto women on TV and believe that all Black woman are like that. Or they encounter some Black Woman that are indeed like that and they ignore the fact that some Black Women like me are not loud, not ghetto, don't have a bunch of kids, are not on welfare, go to school, and work! I can be loud sometimes, though. But that's everybody!

You may see it as a stereotype, that we are loud and whatever. it all goes back to home training, period.
