When I first started drinking I didn't like the taste it is an acquired taste. Now I like the taste there are some drinks I don't like though. But they do make cocktails that you can't taste the alcohol. But I try and stay away from those they taste good and you can get drunk a lot quicker on them LOL

Depends what alcohol. I don't like most spirits on their own but if they're mixed with something they can be alright. Some beer's nice but some's just nasty. Love white wine - but only dry. Like red wine - but can't stand it when it has that metallic taste. Don't mind champagne - as long as it's not cheap.... The list goes on.
People tend to prefer the taste of alcohol as they get older.

Actually, no. I am a 15-year-long recovering alki, and I detest the taste of it. I never have liked it. Especially Peppermint Schnaupps, the first type of alcohol I got drunk and sick on in a 15-minute period 25 years ago. To this day I smell puke everytime I am exposed to that stuff. ;p~ But I craved it (alcohol in general) for years before I found sobriety and sanity. Weird, eh. ;)

Noooo it needs lime, and some other things, and salt; or soda, or coke or something. Not a martini babe here.
