In chess rook and castle is the same piece. Although both rooking and castling are correct it is internationally preferred to call the piece "rook" whereas the move "castiling"

It is called castling. This from the people who park in driveways and drive on parkways.:)

Part of the problem is the verb "to rook", meaning to swindle already existed.

"Rook" is the name of the piece that moves, "Castling" is the verb when the King and Rook move.
