Yes. It has been clearly demonstrated that she has not learned from her mistakes, by being let off the hook all the time. Enforcing the appropriate rules and giving her a jail sentence for her to learn from her actions is completely appropriate, and has a good chance that she will learn from this experience, and stop drinking and driving and putting herself as a danger to herself, and innocent drivers on the road.

Paris Hilton should be treated no differently then anyone else in her legal situation. However, having said that, I feel that the extreme "piling on" is very mean spirited. It's as if people were wishing to extract a sort of vengeance against her just because she's a rich untalented (IMO)celebrity.
Criticizing her public antics and transgressions is one thing but this frenzied hatred toward her is over the top. Have a little compassion, people!

It's stupid. There are real criminals who should be in jail. Sure Paris is a spoiled brat but she has never hurt anyone. All this jealous rage from women against Paris is silly. We will have to pay to keep her in jail. She will be a bigger star in jail then Martha Stewart was. When she gets out of jail she will be bigger news than before. When she leaves jail she will still have more money then all of us put together. That will help her get over the jail experience. If I had her money I'd be a snob too.

Absolutely. She has demonstrated a lack of regard to the law and to the lives of others, and it's about time she faced justice. She may or may not come out a more humble person, but at least she's going to pay her dues (and NOT with her daddy's money).
