im by no means a wings fan, im from northern california, a sharks fan since day 1, we sell out our games Im just surprised "hockeytown" is lagging, whats up detroit fans? buffalo looked insane yesterday, man even watching outside!!!

i hate that sh*t always rich pricks that buy season tix or get them for free and never use them, when real fans are stuck at home wanting to go. I just used pretty much all my paycheck to buy 4 tix for game 6 out here in Sj, gonna be sooooo sick

I never understood how any arena can have empty seats during the playoffs. It makes me sad.

Becuase detroit's fans are greedy, they think there so good they dont need to go to their games until the finals. Maybe they were all at the Pistons game!
Pretty pathetic they cant sell out a playoff game!
I love teams like Buffalo, Ottawa, NY Rangers and other teams that sell out almost everygame because of the fans passion for the game.
Buffalo has sold out every game this season plus they have 10,000 fans outside the arena watching a big screen because the arena is packed! Bandwagon fans or not they are still filling the seats which means more money for the team!

If you want the real answer the real answer is because unfortunatly while the rest of the united states is getting back on their feet Michingan is falling apart. We have no jobs, no money and a HORIBLE governer which floors me that she has even been voted back in. That is the real reason. We michiganders(i hate that word) just can't afford to go to every game anymore we have to pick and choose what ones we can go to. I have two kids and have to support them before i can support the wings. But fortunalty for us we scraped up enough cash to go today. Hopefull will go again. GO WINGS!!!!

ok then, whats the average income over there in california? probably much higher than it is in Michigan. Michigan has one of the worst economys in the united states, if not the worst.....Why is this you ask? well i will give you two words, one being Japan, the other being Toyota.
What kind of car do you drive? Ha thats what i thought, a F*cking Toyota! Just like every one else in California.
And yes like previously stated, there are large sections of seats bought by large corporations who dont always like to show up!

I'm in San Jose wondering the same thing what an embarrassment. I could probably sell my 3rd row Center Ice Seats in Shark-ville for 1,000 a piece per game and would never consider it!
