A wireless mouse that doesn't take batteries? I highly doubt that it's a disposable mouse. I would check again to see where you can remove/insert the batteries. If you don't have the manual, check for the make and model and search the web for an online manual. Usually, the hatch is on the bottom of these mice. Or, if the battery is not removable, check to see if it came with a charger/dock/base where you can place it to charge the batteries.

All wireless mice have batteries unless you have a charging stand to keep it in when not in use. Check on the mouse for a battery compartment and change the batteries. You should also check the connection to your PC, and press the reset button on both the connection unit and the mouse. Last resort - restart your computer! That's what they tell us at work all the time! I'm sure it's the batteries.

*All* my Logitechs take batteries (I have 3 types, from cheapie to grand expensive) and some are hard to find, you really have to tuck and pry the handle to find the battery loosener...

But if you're absitively, posulutely sure it's not a battery problem, then, maybe it could be, like one of mine, the mouse just lost touch with its little USB plug-in thingie? One of mine has a switch you turn on, at the plug-in, and a switch you pop, at the mouse, so's they'll communicate. (It also turns on the mouse, and the mouse gets a red light when it's on.) Maybe you should try turning it off, then on again...

...if your wireless mouse is like my HP one, then it's got a battery, but sits in a recharge cradle that's plugged in to an outlet...maybe you just didn't get it seated properly last time, and it didn't get recharged...
