I try to be fair in 90% of my accusations. I am not perfect so I am guilty of throwing all people in general categories at times. However, the majority of the time I will use words such as SOME, MOST, NOT ALL, AND FAR LEFT to describe liberals I am talking about. However, when I ask a question, it is like SOME just throw those words right out the window and accuse me of insulting them? Why is this? Is there so much emotion in debate, that SOME of you read the question quickly, or do SOME of you just not care?

ck4829 - Elaborate. Are you referring about the number of answers. I am talking about quality. I can't read your mind. Thanks.

citizen Jane - Thanks for the honesty.

Elway the cat - If you were insulted by this question, then you didn't read the question again. Words such as SOME, MOST, NOT ALL, AND FAR LEFT do NOT include everyone. Thanks.

I get this all the time. I believe in the right to bear arms but am still labled a liberal. My answers posted here are smart-alecky the majority of the time and I bash bush as much as possible but there are issues I am with the conservatives on.
They just do not happen to include bush and the reasons we are at war. We need to finish it but, I think we were misled in getting there. So, yes, I read the question. Cannot speak for anyone else.

I rarely ask questions, for this reason. I think people form a stereotype of others, and the minute you label yourself as a Liberal or a Conservative, they respond to your questions based on their stereotypes of you, rather than answering the question.

Ck's answer is a perfect example of what I am talking about.

Citizenjane is someone I nearly always agree with, except for when she is bashing Bush. A fact I find interesting.

I'm not a liberal, and I read your last question thoroughly and replied accordingly. Maybe it has something to do with you labeling everyone who isn't a Bushie as a liberal? Just a guess...

EDIT: I don't believe I said I was insulted, actually I'm used to it. Just by labeling this question to "liberals" only it's easy to tell how you label others. You're assuming all the answers you didn't like came from liberals or you wouldn't have posed this question the way you did. As careful as you wish to be, your bias and penchant for making assumptions about others is obvious. Sorry, that's just the impression I get from your questions and answers.

Liberals are people, and people do not always read questions thoroughly.
