Microsoft word comes with templates you can use to help you format your resume.

If you go to File, then select NEW, you should be presented with a list of templates to open - select OTHER along the top, and there will be some samples to get you started.

if you don't like the ones that come preloaded, you can visit http://www.microsoft.com, and under their downloads section you can search for different ones.

Good luck!
