They like to be kept moist and spritzed daily. They won't tolerate direct sun....indirect only.....They are shade loving plants like hostas

Ferns love moisture and shade. However, most ferns will tolerate sun as long as you keep them well watered and protect them from the hot evening sun. So, just water it well and hang it on the eastern side of the porch where it will be protected and it should be fine. I have several ferns in near full sun but I have to water them often and I also mulch them heavily to retain the moisture longer. Hope this helps.
