Heyyy there! i am ALMOST 18 & just got back from my doctors for a basic physical. My weight was a low 227+ My waist was but a 48 inches, chest 44, i am 5'10. AND have a BP of 142/101 & my body fat% is 31!
It was about a YEAR or so ago when i decided that i wanted to GAIN weight not LOSE it! At the time i was around 161 lbs. & was quite thin. So i decided to "pack on the pounds" per say...
Now a year, plenty of pounds, inches & marks later. i am changing that. Until now, i have not tried to gain OR lose any weight.
NOW i wear a snug 38 jeans. i have a fair share of "sexy" stretchy marks on my love handles/hips & quite a few on my inner thighs too! i also struggle to come to terms with the fact i cant do ONE situp! If i try i feel like im DYING!
Now i'm eating very little til 5 PM! Then i typically have an decent dinner & nice desert. At 10 i'll have a big pizza or 2 burgers 2 liter of dew & top it off a nice binge of random sweets! ;-)
So am i really THAT fat... Or not?

interesting.....
you know many people try to gain weight and not lose it. they think it is sexy. it is just as normal as the people who really want to lose weight. i think everyone should do neither. just let themselves be. but in this world that is hard many people think everyone should be stick skinny and gross. i dont like guys skinny or "heavy" so to speak. right in between is fine, and perfect for everyone. now u are not quite really fat, yet, almost. if you want to be and it makes you happy go for it. however, be sure you are doing it in a healthy way.

You obviously know the answer to this question is a lets see, a yeah. The question is are you gonna stop eating burgers and pizza and get healthy? If not you must be really happy knowing your arteries are clogged and that you can't go anywhere without people staring at you. If you wanna get help I suggest going to a psychiatrist first cause losing weight is more mental than physical and you are obviously gonna have a hard time with it. It's all about will power and if you are eating that much you have none at all. You need to get help before a burger becomes the death of you.

According to the BMI calculator I used your BMI is 32.6 which would be considered obese, however these calculators are not perfect muscular people are oftened characterized as overfat with them. I believe a healthy waist size for men is considered below 40 inches. Your blood pressure is high for your age you want it below 120/80.
It sounds like you are binging at night. Try to eat breakfast and lunch and then a sensible dinner instead of saving all your calories for the end of the day. Soda has a lot of calories that are really empty you should switch to water and limit the amount of soda you drink. This will help a lot. I know changing what you are doing is going to be hard for you. When you are ready to make changes you will. Good luck.

According to doctors and nutritionists, a 5'10" medium framed male should be about160 pounds. Your body fat should be 24% body fat. YES, you are FAT!
I am not trying to be mean, I am trying to save your health!
You blood pressure is too high for anyone at rest - you should be 110-120s over 60s to low 80s.
1] start by changing your diet. Cut out fried, fast, and junk food, including empty calories like 'dew' [ 2 liters = abt. 800 calories, or another 1.5 lb, a week! ]
2] drink lots of water - you have a lot of garbage to flush out.
Every time you go to the bathroom, or go to the kitchen, drink 8 oz. WATER before anything else.
3] take a multivitamin with minerals every day. Frequently overweight people have vitamin or mineral deficiencies because of their food choices.
4] eat breakfast. People who eat breakfast get better grades, live longer, and maintain weight loss longer.
5] eat lean protein [ chicken,fish,lean beef ] 3x a day
6] eat wholegrain bread/cereal /pasta 3x
7] eat lean dairy [ skim or reduced fat ilk/cheese/yogurt ] 3x
8] eat 2 fruits
9] eat 3-5 unsauced, unfried veggies
10] If you 'have' to eat fast food,
a] order a kid's meal
b] eat only 2 slices veggie pizza
c] order salad with lean proten in it
d] drink water!
eat breakfast, lunch, dinner with a 100 calorie snack mid- morning and mid-afternoon. Don't eat at least 4 hours before bed!
Start walking - this will 'rev' your metabolism and increase muscle mass. Try to walk 20-30" 6xa week while losing
weight.
Do girl or boy pushups - 10 every day this week, then 15 next, then 20...6 x aweek
Do situps or 'curls' - 10, then 20, etc. Do the ones with your arms across your chest to start. [ you will not die - i could do them the day after I delivered my kids! ]
Lift weights to build muscle mass and maintain body proportions - start with soup cans, then bigger cans, and work your wayup to 'real' weights. 3 sets of ten reps each, 3x a week.
You will look great when school starts next year!

Yes, you are.
Never eat after 6 pm if you want to lose weight.
The earlier the better, drink water that dew has a gazillion calories, so start reading the calorie content on the packages to guide you some.
Your being honest is good though, keep it to guide you.
