Can you tell me what March to the Sea was about but in yor own words b/c i have no idea what the articles say about the war!

It was part of the War Between the States (commonly and erroneously refered to as the American Civil War).

General Sherman marched his men from the Mississippi River to Savannah, GA burning and destroying everything in his past. It destroyed many major Southern cities.

Basically it was the march from Atlanta in November through December 1864 in which Sherman and the Union armies burned a path from Atlanta to Savannah in South Carolina.

General Sherman marched his army through the strong hold of the Confederate States to put an end to the War. But in the South he is considered a Terrorist.
