It's really best to get Macromedia from www.adobe.com but if you don't need its power and don't want to pay an arm and a leg, then you may want to try Flash Creator at:

http://www.shareup.com/Flash-Creator-download-11979.html

It's shareware but cheaper and also simpler to learn and use if all you want are animations.
