Me and the Mrs started watching them about 2-3 months ago (we were what you may call 'casual' manga/anime fans) but with these studio ghibli ones we've totally got hooked, they are truly amazing and blow Disney out of the water (of whom I dont think have done a decent film since aladin)

Help us please and u get a big wooty 5

There's a full list of Studio Ghibli (and Hayao Miyazaki as well) films at:
http://www.nausicaa.net/

Also, that site has release information, so you can see which ones are available on DVD, when the newest ones will be playing in the USA, etc.

If you like the Studio Ghibli works, you might also consider some of Hayao Miyazaki's earlier works. "Lupin III: Castle Of Cagliostro" in particular is good. Check out this anime music video:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=325
... to get a feel for the animation style and story.

Ghibli films (not including a few shorts, TV spots, and music videos) are:

Directed by Hayao Miyazaki:
-------------------------
Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind,
Laputa: The Castle in the Sky,
My Neighbor Totoro,
Kiki's Delivery Service,
Porco Rosso,
Princess Mononoke,
Spirited Away,
Howl's Moving Castle,
Ponyo On A Cliff (coming in 2008)

Directedby Isao Takahata:
-------------------------
Grave of the Fireflies,
Only Yesterday,
Pom Poko,
My Neighbors the Yamadas

Directed by others:
-------------------------
Ocean Waves,
Whisper of the Heart,
The Cat Returns,
Tales from Earthsea

I totally love work from Hayao Miyazaki & Studio Ghibli! Especially Howl's moving castle, Spirited Away and The castle in the sky (Laputa) I'm going to watch Tales from earthsea by Miyazaki's son, so I hope that one's great too :D

Yeah. I especially love Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away. I never get tired of listening to the theme song "Always With Me." I sing that song to my daughter when I was pregnant with and still do when she needs to calm down.

'Hope this site helps.
