If you used a credit card to pay, you can dispute the charge with your card company. You may have to pay the $50 but not the rest. The card company will get their money back from the other party or stop allowing them to use their cards.

You have more chance of getting your money back as a flying cow.

The ebay China scam had been running for the best part of last year, when I first started to search for a new laptop, and I noticed the cheap price, the first thing that hit me is how can they sell so cheap, then I did some research and checked all the feedbacks, right away I saw a problem, its a scam, all feedbacks are done on same day.

Once the money transfered, the account are normally closed, and the seller gone for good.
You can try but personally, I dont think you have a chance at all, sorry to be so blunt.

I even went as far as sending emails to all people bidding for these laptops to warn them, many wrote back to thank me, sadly ebay blocked my account thinking I were spamming their users.

I have to laugh at that name: Alibaba. Are you familiar with his friends? The Forty Thieves.
