Douching is NOT A GOOD IDEA!!! Even with just water! It can aggrivate the natural balance in your vagina! If the itch is still bothering you, you need to call your GYN. Antibiotic is for a bacterial infection, and that can actually make you get a yeast infection, which is the one that makes you want to scratch the skin off. There are some good OTC products for feminine itch. But be careful.
Make sure you are wearing cotton panties during the day and no panties at night.

You are going to hate me! Antibiotics can cause vaginal yeast infection. If that is what has happened then to stop the itch, natural yogurt, honest! Then return to the Doc because they have a new one pill knock down thrush killer. Just one pill and it all goes away. However please do not so what I did! When I started with the itch at the weekend out of Doc hours, I used the yogurt until Monday morning then went screaming to the Doc office and said 'You gave me vaginal THRUSH!' The other people waiting kinda looked!

If your itching is topical, meaning external itching you can try vagisil. They sell this at your local pharmacy. Believe me, it works!!!

Best of luck!!!

Try buying monistat or vagistat icthing creams, that should do it. Or use vaseline to help. Try wearing different underwear, maybe the fabric is icthing. =]
