i am black so i can call people that. anyway, do you feel we will ever have a black prez. if so, do you think he'll be assassanated before or after the inaugeration?

another thing is that sometimes anyone can get offended if you say black. it changes every 5 or 10 years from afro-american to african american. i am confuzzled as well.

We will most certainly have a Black president, in a very short time relatively. Obama could do it if not this time then the next opportunity. It won't be that long.
I'm White and I can still call people Black.

That is a very racist question. But, yes, I do think there will one day be a black President. I hope it's not Obama, but that's because I don't like his political point of view. No doubt there will be some idiots that would take offence at a black president and assassination would likely occur to them. However I have trust and faith in our Secret Service to provide full protection for him (or her). After all they have done a superb job protecting President Bush from all the idiots out there.

first of all i am not american but please allow me to answer your question.i am egyptian, you know what here in egypt we dont have discraminations like you do and i really dont know why there are discraminations i just think that people are all the same.mainly here in egypt people are not black and not white you know we have that bronze or wheat color,anyways ofcourse one day there will be a black prez.you know why cause black people are simply people, but you know what till today there is discramination in the USA and what proves so is that till now america never witnessed a black prez. but i am sure that one day a black man or woman would successfully rule america and it could be you.........

Yes, we will have a black President. We will also have a female President. And most likely in 2008 we will have one or the other.

I think we will when a credible candidate is brought forth. I know Colin Powell could have practically walked into the job. Obama is not good enough to shine Colin's shoes.
