Here is one of my art pieces...(bottom of document, copy and paste it)
What do you think of it? Would you buy a piece of work from me? (note: this isn't for sale, I'm just wondering if someone likes my style) The other question I have is about Deviant Art... When is that IP address ban thing over? I would like to post some stuff on there but It doesn't like my IP address. Or if you know another artwork blog thingy, can you tell me the URL address? Thanks and have a good day.

Here's the address:

Please keep in mind that this is also a doodle I did on photoshop with a mouse (and if you have any experience with notebook dells and photoshop and mouses, you will know that it is difficult to create realistic pictures). This only took 45 quick minutes. Maybe I will post some of my artwork that took a much longer time. I also used the dogde and burn tool, that's why there is so much mid tones

I guess I have to be the only art critic...

It's OK, nothing that I would buy, it doesn't move your eye around the work of art. She seems more 2-d than 3-d. Too much black around the whole face, you should have left the background from her forehead to her nose lighter in color so it doesn't seem like the background is consuming her. Not coloring the forehead to the nose would have caused the eyes (main focal point) to stand WAY out.

I would suggest you contact some clip art services (like Print Media Services) and try and sell your work that way too.

Many times those services will give topic assignments to artist based on their style.

Good luck !

No,what you need to do to get better fast is to draw from life.

You get out of drawing what you put in,also its important to draw what you see and not what you think you see,

As for the drawing itself(just my opinion)is you need to push your dark tones even darker and you need to ease up on mid tones,
You dont have to stick to it but try to see yor subject with only 5 tones, maybe drop tne mid tone altogether.
