what does it represent...everything good or very bad has happened to me on a 5 and today is May 5th.

OK with really does not signify anything, when you dont like something you attract negative vibes to it so you bring the luck whether its good or bad!
you know what you should do, write number 5 on a paper, add water and then salt, let it dry in sun then burn it, make sure you do it safely, out doors and if you're young have an adult help out. The get the ashes and and blow it.
number 5 will be nothing but a number!

hmmm you're just like Natalie Portman's character in the movie Where the Heart Is. Well, 5 is nothing more than number to me. We all have our little superstitions.

Sounds like a typical "mind set" to me. We can all set ourselves up for various issues and circumstances by focusing negatively on them. It becomes a personal superstition that we can actually break out of by ceasing to think about it (easier said than done !).
