Right now, I've set my iTunes to play the whole playlist as background to what I'm doing. It has some old songs that I know and that are the kind of tracks that run in my head (e.g. Ain't Misbehavin' — this is the Louis Armstrong version, but I've also got Fats Waller's original and will copy it to iTunes). It also has some newer songs that I haven't gotten a grip on — e.g., the last song was Michael Damian "Any Dream Will Do," which is relatively new to me. Some very new songs will come up soon (right now, Damian shifted to Bernadette Peters & Tom Wopert, "Anything You Can Do" from the remount of Annie Get Your Gun.
The point I want to make is that right now, I'm just letting my mind float from song to song as I hear them. I'm enjoying all of them, in different ways. Some I know. Some I don't (or at least not so well). And I'm enjoying them all.

I love that song SOOOOOO much, it was my myspace song forever!!! It's so me and my best friend..."I got to parties sometimes until 4, it's hard to leave when you cant find the door!" We got wasted in Montreal one night and couldnt find the door out of a club, and since then, it's been one of my favorite songs. Thanks for getting it stuck IN my head!!! xxxooo
