Welcome to the club. I love 50/60's music. Mostly because I was there when it was being invented. My son, 29, likes all kinds of music but 50's/60's ranks high with him also.
Possibly it is because it was somewhat simpler with a story line and lyrics you can pretty much hear. The music was a little innocent and pretty much was about love, lack of love, wanting to be loved, or boyfriend/girlfriend dying in car wrecks.Much of today's music got its begging from the real "rock" music.

No as long as you like it, it doesnt matter. I like listening to old songs too. I thik they are better written then the ones of today. So go ahead and listen to them if you ike them.
