Rock music sucks big time! I can't stand it! I noticed that most of these responses are from white people, so it makes sense that said rock doesn't suck. Very typical and not surprising. Rock also gives me a headache, and I always change the radio station if they are about to play that stupid LOUD annoying music. White people love it because 99% of the lyrics doesn't make sense and its all about screaming, which I have no idea how someone can relate to it. Its the only music thats left for white people, because country music sucks even more and people hate it.
Bottom line, Rock music SUX!

I disagree with everything you just said.
And although you never mentioned what genre of music you prefer, I'm pretty sure I would disagree with that too.
I don't recall any quality rock bands of late wearing makeup though. Possibly you are thinking of EMO or whatever it's called, which is, to me, not much better than whatever it is that you probably listen to.
All music can cause headaches, it's a fact. Any loud noise can make your head hurt.
Or forgive me, but maybe you are afflicted with terrible migraines because you had to think too hard to comprehend that there are artists out there that don't have to make up X-rated nursery rhymes to sell records.
That's right, go out and get drunk, and dance, and live it up. Just buy in to whatever the are playing on MTV, or playing in some whore-house dance club. That's not my problem. Just leave ROCK out of it. Though, today's standards in my opinion have sunken to an all time low in what is popular to listen to, anything with a guitar is better than your dumbed-down corporate rap gangsta, Paris Hilton wanna-be, shallow-minded, waste of a sence of sound.

The dudes wear makeup because it's hot. Rock music doesn't suck. Just because the music shows emotion, unlike the kind of music you probably listen to, doesn't mean it sucks. And rock stars write their own lyrics! That's a first in the music industry. If you ask me, everything else sucks. Rock is the only type of music that isn't shallow these days.

rock is also better cause it was first and it has progressed and changed over the years, rap has stayed the exact same as when it was first started

when you think of rock you think of heavy metal, not all rock is metal and not all rock is screaming some rock songs are beautiful masterpieces(haven't seen a rap song that is even close to being a masterpiece)

hah. you make me laugh. rock music sucks? oh, well, excuse me, listening to some person without an education rapping about "their guns, their h*s, their escalades, and their "40", is much more enjoyable.
if you don't like it, don't listen to it! but its going to be hard, you see? because in 10 years, people will still know who the stones or the beatles are. do you really think any of them will remember "mike jones"? how about "Q-Tip"? or Usher? or J-Z? P-Diddy?

rockk doesnt suck but neither does rap. i love both music and i find i the guys who wear make-up prettyy hot. You so cannot say that Pete Wentz, Brendon Urie, Ryan Ross, or any other guy that wears eyeline isnt hot. Well, it's better than country hearing about how ol' Lee Roy's dog ran off, his whiskey is gone, and his wife left him for his brother and took the trailer too.
And it's ten times better than that rap crap where all they talk about is bling, hoes, and killing cops.

everyone has their own preference of music. some people may like rock, and others may not. as for me, i listen to all music, and try to be open-minded about it all. if rock isn't for you, that's fine with me...but, don't say it sucks and tell the whole world how bad it is if they don't ask because it's your opinion and some people may not feel the same...everyone is an individual.
