Well, the nearest bookstore for me is about a half hour car journey away, and since i don't have a car or a license as of yet... I use the internet for most of my purchases, and i generally buy two or three new books a month, and have them read almost straight away. I tend to read whenever i get the chance, toilet, the shower, the bath, on a train, bus, tea break at work...i'd even read whilst walking if i could trust my feet not to get tangled up. Reading, and in particular books, are my passion, as sad and pathetic as that may sound. My dream job would be to work for a large bookstore buying and selling books to be sold in the shop, writing up reviews for customers to make their own choices..... Oh! how i wish i were rich and could afford to buy my own Huge house to fill with books from wall to wall! Floor to ceilling!!!! I don't care how many times i re-read a book if it's worth buying, it's worth reading over and over again!!!!

I love to read! I used to read all the time, then i watched tv, and I missed the books, so I started to read again. I don't go to the bookstore that often because i don't have enough money to buy any books. I'm going to one today, however, to read the first chapter of Eclipse in the New Moon special edition. Yeah!

I go to the bookstore whenever possible to buy a(some) book(s). But usually theirs nothing new from the last visit which means, even though lots of the books I haven't read look just as boring as the last time. (just some of the books, lots look really interesting.)

I love reading, and make sure that I have at least 2 books in the house which I have not read - keeps me going till I can get to a book shop.

Usually I buy several books at a time, some for their appeal and others because they have been recommended by family/friends - usually get a good read that way.

Also build up a collection which I can swap too.

I am the world's champion reader! I read 'Gone With the Wind' in a day and a half because I was in seventh grade and had to go to school all day, and then dance class. [ 862 pp.]
I buy new or secondhand, borrow from friends, and go to the library [at least weekly ].
My whole family [ Mom, siblings ] will read anything with print on it - we joke we're glad they don't print anything on toilet tissue because we'd never come out of the bathroom!
My husb and sons are not quite as fanatic about it, but are still good readers.
One of the best things you can do for your kids is show them you enjoying reading or learning.

I love reading and I have a major weakness for bookshops and Amazon in particular. Unfortunately lack of funds and book space is an issue, but it's probably just as well - I haven't even read all the books I already own yet!

I go to charity shops and buy about 4 books each time I go, and I also borrow from friends & family so I don't have to pay full price as I read ALL the time and it would cost me a fortune!
