No and never. I just can't get into a book. I don't have the attention span.

I go everyday to bookstores but I rarely buy books. One of the reasons is that I seldom see books that I like to read Oddly enough the few that I buy are books that I've aready read and thought exceptional after having borrowed them from a library or read them in those bookstores where you can sit down and even have a coffee or something.
I don' t read very often because I' m a very visual person and I believe like little Alice of Wonderland said "What is the purpose of a book if it hasn' t any pictures in it?" I feel that publishers should make more use of good illustrators to enhance adult books.
Another reason why I don't buy many books is because I totally oppose the trend of modern publishers in publishing far too many books by celebrities that they pay with enormous advances and are always totally written by ghost writers while ignoring those of new aspiring talented writers. I call these publishers "hype merchants" and there are far too many of them. So mine is a sort of boycot. Because I'm directly involved with books in a lovely bookshop in Notting Hill called the Notting HIll Bokshop that is frequented by very bookish peopleI I don't like the idea of becoming too bookish myself ending up by hoarding thousands of often unread books in my flat as I noticed that these people often mistake real life for the world of books that are not exactly the same thing. Having said all this I will say that great books are great as much as great friends and I intend to read quite a few more of them.

I do enjoy reading. I don't go to the bookstore very often, I usually just wait until the library has their monthly book sale and than buy a bunch of books for like a dollar each.

I like reading a lot! However, I'll read so much in one week that I won't want to read for a while. It also depends on the subject or how it is written. Last week I bought three books and read them in 5 days. I really should read them over cause they re books to think about. I really like short mysteries cause after I'm done with the both I don't have to think about what it means to me, and the books I just got are books that make you think. Both my parents are into books(my mom was even a librarian for 20 years or so). So I don't always buy books often cause I have many around, and I'm busy finishing my degree. So once I graduate I prob will read more.

I do enjoy reading, but don't buy many books from the bookstore; I usually buy from Amazon or Ebay, cost is less, and they actually have the ones I want. The local Books-A-Million is great for coffee if you can get the kids to leave you alone, but they don't have much stock that isn't current best sellers, cookbooks, and the miscellaneous computer manuals.

I am an avid reader and buy hundreds of books, my house is full of book cases and I read and re-read them over and over again. I have a book I am reading upstairs for when I go to bed, and another one downstairs when I am relaxing in the lounge - I can read 4 books at once. People think I am mad -

Hugely; it is one of my passions.
I visit a bookshop (new or secondhand) at least once a week and I reckon to buy around 30 books a year. My family give me books at Christmas and on my birthday - so that is another 6-10 a year, roughly.

I love reading, its good for the brain and the soul, don't go to the book shops much as a circle of friends pass our books around to each other to read, saves us a fortune that way.
