I kind of always wondered that. Then last month hit. If you check my profile you'll see that until yesterday, I had gone four weeks without asking a question. I never thought I could do it..... didn't exactly intend for it to happen, but sometimes things happen that force you to have to stay away. Don't get me wrong....... missed this place so unbelievably much. But it does make you realize that you can dig into life and seriously get lost in the every day goings on. But once making friends here...... there is definitely an empty feeling when you can't see them every day. But if you wait too long..... you then get it in your head that you can't come back without people wondering what made you leave in the first place. How wrong I was. Amazing how welcoming people have been. I guess we all have our reasons for being here and most truly are so accepting because they know they have their own demons to work through as well. Makes me love this place all the more.
So could I give it up for a week? You realize that you can..... but would you really want to? never!! :)

Well I gave it up for four days last November when I was in Atlanta for my brother's wedding, so I'm sure I could tack three more days onto another sabbatical sometime...the problem is that I can't afford the vacation itself....and so I remain....*sigh*.....
But I do love this Hotel California ;)
