This one is right up there with the "Beatles or Stones" question. Wars are fought over this stuff.
I have given this question a great deal of thought. And after reflecting on everything, I think I would have to say Tool.

Well considering Britney is a tool - I would have to go with the band Tool without a doubt!

What an extreme!!!!! Tool is too loud and lack melody while Britney is too commercial but she does have several good songs. I know I'll appear uncool but I'd pick Britney, not that I'm a fan. I prefer Beyonce, Mariah, Rachael Lampa, etc.

britney spears has a beautiful voice. What a waste. She doesnt use it to have uhm, appropriate songs.
