Well, first you need to be a US citizen for that. Think how to get US citizenship instead of applying for a job. And ya, the reason why they give more preference to astronomers and not to computer scientists is they just want good programmers and linux operators. In the case of linux operating, astronomers are way ahead then computer scientists because they always deal with linux and they also have very good programming experience. However, I am not saying that to get job in NASA as computer scientist is impossible. But you won't get that much salary as you work in Microsoft. And space is limited, so competition is stiff for computer people.
And US citizenship (not even permanent residency) is must.

It's always to have a great dreams. Nice one you have. Actually, you have to be an extra ordinary to get into NASA, besides this you must have an ability to prove this. Frankly speaking, instead of NASA you try out for some local company working on inter disciplinary area. there are many such companies. after getting an experience of 10 to 15 years directly apply for NASA on some of it's project. While working in company, you start working for NASA from it's website, you can get some projects from there to work for. This will adds to your resume for NASA. Also you will be able to develop some contacts in NASA.

I have been trying for days regarding this
but it is very difficult ,to get any direct recruitment
so we students have decided to work on a project privately reg the security system and make our recruitment easy.
