If you only want to do some very light editing, go with Picasa 2. You can download it from Google (it's free). It is the best for photo orgainization. If you want a business style thing with lots of editing try Adobe Photoshop (it's not free).

Here are some programs that work well. Paint should be on your computer. Corel Snapfire and Microsoft Photo Draw 2 are work well. You will have to pay to get Corel Snapfire and Microsoft Photo Draw 2. Corel Snapfire does have 30 day trial periods. Gimp 2 is a free program that works well. I perfer Microsoft Photo Draw 2.

The best (and most expensive) is Photoshop from Adobe. Corel's Paint Shop is almost as good and much cheaper

Or try the free GIMP, its a bit confusing though.
Photoshop is too expensive for basic stuff.

adobe photoshop is the best prog for picture or graphic edting with a lot of plugin like eye candy alien skin your work easily will looking great

I was recommended to get Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8. I can vouch that it's not too expensive.

Adobe Photoshop. It is very expensive. You can always use Paint.NET or the GIMP as free alternatives that are pretty good.
