What can I do to decorate my dorm room cheaply? What things should I add? Is it possible if I'm on a budget?

My dorm room is sooo aesthetically-challenged !!! All furniture and square corners !!!

It depends on what kind of look you want the room to give off.

If you want a room that tells people you like music, get some posters and tack them up. Maybe print out some cut-out music notes and paint or color them and hang them from the ceiling with string and pushpins.

Space type of room: Print out the planets and hang them from the celing after coloring them. and find a poster of a sun, and hang it on one side of the room and a moon on the other. Add those little glow-in-the-dark stars to the ceiling and at night they glow.

Jungle type room: Get some real or fake plants and add them in the corners of the room and Make a collage of jungle animals by taking a piece of corkboard and putting leopard print fabric over it, and hanging it on the wall. Tack the pictures on it.

An elegant room: Find some cheap bedside tables and place in a couple corners and add a nice little lamp to it. Try to make the tables and lamps match. Place some good reading material on a coffee table if you have one, and put a fake flower arrangement on the table. (Not too frilly of course, cuz this is a guys room)

that's easy. Framed artwork or snap shots. NO POSTERS! try touches that say room no longer dorm room. super gadgets would be overwhelming on an identical time as small gadgets would experience out of place so attempt to characteristic to share to the room it'self. that's a good theory if your roomate (in case you have one) will enable an entire room seem as one sided adorning seems out of place besides. Small rooms elect gentle hues. darkish hues will make the room seem small. additionally in case you're able to have last storage for products like television's, desktops and stereos. upload the toucjes of abode like toss pillows and your well-liked nik nacks.

We used to use posters and put it up with push pins. Psychedelic posters with a black light.
