What was the best college football game youve ever seen? It can be from any year, and describe why you think its the best.

I think last years OSU- Michigan game was good, because there was just so much on the line, with the National Championship, Heisman Trophy and all. The Boise State- Oklahoma Fiesta Bowl was probably my favorite. The 2005 Rose Bowl with Southern Cal and Texas was the best Rose Bowl ever.

I have to throw the 2007 Fiesta Bowl into the ring. Boise State over Oklahoma 43-42. The point spread was only 9 but OU was one fluke play in Oregon from having a say at the National Championship. OU has won 7 national titles plays in the Big 12. Boise State on the other hand just came in to D1 football 10 years prior and plays in a much weaker conference the WAC. Even though the game started out in the great for BSU jumping out to an early 14-0 lead in the first quarter the game ended with plays which legends are made. All and all not to many people out side of Boise thought that the Broncos stood much of a chance against the Peterson and his Sooners. Big upset and GREAT GAME I say the best of all time.

Texas vs. USC in the Rose Bowl of 2005!

Or Texas vs. Texas Tech in 2006, down by 21 points in the first quarter, Texas won the game 35-31.

Boise State-Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. Even Urban Meyer's wife called that the best football game she has ever seen. Since she is wife to the Florida coach I would guess she has probably seen quite a few football games in her day.

Michigan 24, Ohio State 12: Greatest game of the greatest rivilry. No one gave Michigan any chance at all, except Bo and the team.

And Woody was right; Bo never did win a bigger game! (But then, I think Bo never had a bigger game either).

Florida State vs Notre dame 1993. ND was the heavy underdog; the press didn't give them a chance to win. In fact, the press was so enamored by FSU and Bobby Bowden that they voted FSU national champs that year, over ND.

The Miami - Ohio St. BCS Championship that went into overtime.
Miami was robbed, when the refs made up a phantom pass interference call, which gave OSU another chance.
