If they don't change their tampon or pad for a few hours, yes there is an odor, also not showering can do it too.
Some women have the belief that showering will make their period last longer, because they were taught that contact with water will make the period stop. This is untrue

Actually many women do have a special body odor at that time which does not wash off. I do, and I sometimes can smell it on other women as well. No amount of showering gets rid of it.

anyway, no there shouldn't be. or should i say, i haven't heard of that occuring during a period. bloating, yes. stomach cramps, yes. mood changes, yes--though for me is a little too dramatic. but body odor, not at all. if it's something that occurs even on regular days, then introduce her to something that's called a deodorant.
but women's bodies undergo through so much hormonal changes during their period, so go to webmd.com and see for yourself.

Yeah dude u have to avoid that aswell cause they also can't have sex as frequently as men cause i guarantee it if women didn't have periods they'd have sex a lot more
