How do I go about making a pitch to a greetings cards company for a new line of greetings cards?

I have the illustrations and captions, but it's not in a 'card' format yet. Any leads? Ideas? Advice? I'd really appreciate it.

The Greetings Card business looks rather competitive to me - especially with everyone now using digital cameras & printing their own cards - it also seems to me that anything you come up with can be copied rather quickley ..

For sure I think you need to make up some 'sample' cards .. and I would guess you best bet would be the small independant stores / paper shops etc. (they are less likley to decide to 'cut you out' and get their 'in house' designers to copy your ideas)
