I say it all depends. If you have done something minor such as pissing a friend off and he threatens to call the cops, there is really no worry depending on what you did though. If you shot some or have 50 pounds of cocaine in your car or house then you should definitely worry. Again it depends on how serious the situation is.

My ex girlfriend called the police for no good reason. When they got there they told me that they know her well and that they have been to her house many times. Do yourself a BIG favor just stay away.

Call the police first on the other person. I tell the cop that that guy tried to rape me. Works every time.
