come on down to texas veruca!! i've got homemade chili ready to go, we pour some in a bowl of fritos (or right smack into an invidvual size package of fritos) and top it with shredded cheese!!! yummmmmmmmmmmm

A "frito pie" is made with frito chips as the bottom layer, then put nacho cheese sauce and meat on top. Once the above steps are done, Voila, you have yourself a messy frito pie.

Regular sized Fritos
Red Chili (made with ground beef)
Grated cheese
chopped onion
We eat frito pie all the time, the kids especially like it.

Just because you don't LIKE it, doesn't give you the right to call us Texans names, you fools!
Ahem....having said that, Frito Pie is a mixture of Fritos, chili, cheese, onions, jalapenos, and whatever else you wanna throw in there. It's actually mixed together in the bag (the small single-serving ones), and you eat it right out of the bag, too.
And it's fattening and unhealthy as hell, but it's also DA BOMB! = )
