3) don't know
4) United states got bigger by the size of Louisana. That area should be easy to google
5) Louis and Clark were looking for the Northwest passage to the Pacific Ocean, they found it. They also expanded the knowlege of the western territories and established a network of contact with the native people. Sacagawea helped by acting as an interpreter (sign language was univesal amoung the tribes). Also, by having a woman and child along, the tribes knew that this was NOT a war party and therefore weren't prone to attack. She also knew the area and acted as a scout and helped the group survive in the wilderness through her knowlege of the area, game, edible plants etc.

6) Pikes Peak, Colorado.
7) Tecumesh was trying to unify the tribes to repel the influence of the white's. He wanted to return his people to independence from European influence.

You should read some history novels on this, it's absolutly fascinating area of study.

3.In 1795, Spain granted Western farmers the right to ship produce down the Mississippi River to New Orleans, where their cargoes of corn, whiskey, and pork were loaded aboard ships bound for the east coast and foreign ports. In 1800, Spain secretly ceded Louisiana Territory to France, and closed the port of New Orleans to American farmers. Westerners, left without a port from which to export their goods, exploded with anger. Many demanded war.

The prospect of French control of the Mississippi alarmed Jefferson. Spain held only a weak and tenuous grip on the river, but France was a much stronger power. Jefferson feared the establishment of a French colonial empire in North America blocking American expansion. The United States appeared to have only two options: diplomacy or war. In response to growing concerns from the western states, Jefferson, with Congressional approval, called for the state governors to raise a militia of 80,000 men in preparation for a possible war with France.

7.During the early 1800s, Tecumseh, a chief of the Shawnee Indians, attempted to unite Native American tribes west of the Appalachian Mountains into a confederation. Tecumseh believed that the land did not belong to a single tribe. In reality, no one owned the land except for the Master of Life, the Shawnees’ principal god. Despite this, Tecumseh believed that the only way that the natives could transfer land to the Americans was if every tribe agreed to it. Tecumseh wanted to force the Americans to deal with all of the tribes in unison. Separately, the individual tribes did not have much power; together,

Why aren't you doing your OWN homework?
What are our American students coming to that they don't want to complete their own school work on their own?
It's like cheating on a test!
Go to the library and find the answers on your own. It would feel better to actually get the work done on your own.
Or google for the answers.
